The Baylor University Faculty Handbook is intended to acquaint you with Baylor University and to help facilitate your work as a faculty member at Baylor. It provides information of importance to faculty members and describes, in general terms, some of the operational procedures and employment guidelines that apply to faculty.

As the university's chief academic officer, the Provost has responsibility for all of Baylor's academic enterprises including twelve schools and colleges and more than one dozen research centers and institutes. The Provost works closely with the President, deans, department chairs, faculty, Regents, and others to provide academic vision and leadership and to promote and support excellence in teaching, learning, and research within the context of a Christian worldview.

Baylor University rules, regulations, and policies applicable to students are listed in the Student Policies and Procedures and other student-related publications.

Student Conduct Administration has oversight for the Student Conduct Code and Honor Code.
