The Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act requires all postsecondary institutions participating in HEA’s Title IV student financial assistance programs to disclose campus crime statistics and security information.
The University's Department of Public Safety which also contains the following areas: Fire Safety, Emergency Preparedness, Parking and Transportation and Baylor Alerts.
Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, officers with the Baylor Police Department respond to over 10,000 calls a year. The Department operates marked patrol vehicles on campus, a bicycle unit, a Criminal Investigation unit, and a Crime Prevention unit.
