The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council has developed a set of financial and information technology standards, called Payment Card Information Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS), to protect credit cardholders' data. These standards govern all merchants and organizations that collect, process, store, or transmit credit card information. 

The purpose of Emergency Management is to develop, organize, coordinate and lead the campus toward effective preparation for, and efficient response to, emergencies and disasters with the primary focus on saving lives, reducing human suffering and the minimizing of property loss and academic services.

Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, officers with the Baylor Police Department respond to over 10,000 calls a year. The Department operates marked patrol vehicles on campus, a bicycle unit, a Criminal Investigation unit, and a Crime Prevention unit.
